Vienna’s excellent public transport system makes getting around the city fast and easy. There is a tram and a bus stop just around the corner, as well as the underground line U3 (only 5 minutes’ walking distance) which will take you directly to the city centre (St Stephen’s Cathedral, State Opera House, Kärntnerstraße etc.) and to the railway station Westbahnhof where Vienna’s biggest shopping street Mariahilferstraße begins. Apart from its wide range of shops, it also offers a variety of bars, cafes and restaurants where you can try the typical Viennese specialties. You can also go directly to Schloss Schönbrunn by taking the bus 10A.
